Choose a sickle that's high enough to reach your shoulders or a little longer if you prefer. A sickle is basically a stick with a curved blade on the end. It's the weapon most commonly associated with the Grim Reaper, but there are other options available if you prefer. If you're attending an event where weapons are restricted, you can carry a stick. A branch can be painted black to make a staff. The Grim Reaper is also often depicted holding a staff instead of a sickle, so your costume will still look great! If you still want to create a spooky vibe, you can put a fake skull on the stick. Choose to carry a clock, hourglass, or lantern for a less traditional style. You can carry a large clock or hourglass. Alternatively, you can carry a lantern with a lantern cage on a chain.
